Today I realized something that nuanced a previous understanding I had while reading What makes the Difference between Female Orgasmic Experiences? Analyzing the Distinctions between Women with Multi-Orgasmic, Single-Orgasmic or Anorgasmic Experiences. I realized that multiorgasmic females are not always more explorative than mono- or preorgasmic females.
Previous literature has shown that sexual exploration and comfortableness to explore is a predictor for multiorgasmic ability, but this finding can create an assumption that conceals the experience of some anorgasmic/preorgasmic females who might resort to trying almost anything they can find in the sex therapy, alternative medicine, and sex toy departments in order to have an orgasm. For some anorgasmic/perorgasmic people, orgasm can still be elusive despite trying everything they can find. Perhaps they are rarer than preorgasmic/anorgasmic females who just have not explored much, but they must not be overlooked by incomplete understandings. Their experiences show that sometimes orgasm evades the things that we think will more reliably elicit it.
